The Dark Knight - Review
Posted by Ran

I was privileged enough to catch The Dark Night last night at the IMAX. I would have seen it sooner if it wasn’t sold out though Monday. This just might be one of the best movies of the year, and probably the best comic movie of all time… ever. I love superlatives.

Keep on drumming
Posted by Ran

My drum lessons are well under way, and I’m very happy at the pace that I’m progressing. More specifically, I’m happy about the pace that my instructor is teaching. I’ve only been twice and I’ve already covered some pretty cool beats. Today, a friend of mine has brought to my attention this BBC article which cites a joint study from the University of Gloucestershire and the University of Chichester. The study found that a professional drummer have the physical stamina comparable to that of a premiership footballer. It kinda makes sense since it only takes a couple songs on rock band for me to break a sweat… which is why I like to rock shirtless.

[Thanks Nick]

Heartless Machines

Christopher Lock uses scissors confiscated by the TSA at airports and turns them into unique looking spider sculptures. But these are not just any scissors, these scissors are under the legal length allowed on planes but were still confiscated because it’s up to the discretion of the specific TSA officer. For $150 you’ll get a one of a kind conversation piece; no two are the same.
